Rising Stars: Ericka Hart

01 02 2021

Ericka Hart, activist, breast cancer survivor and sexuality educator, first went viral in 2016 after going topless in public and exposing her double mastectomy scars to make a point against the lack of minority representation in breast cancer awareness.

Currently a lecturer on human sexuality at New York’s Columbia University, Hart has become well known for her work as a public speaker and educator on topics including social and racial justice, body positivity, and wider sexual health topics. Since first going viral, Hart has posed topless for Paper and Out magazines and last year featured in a Breast Cancer Awareness campaign for Rihanna’s SavageXFenty lingerie line. Most recently, she was revealed one of ten digital cover stars for GLAMOUR Magazine’s second annual Self-Love Issue.
